The SD Diabetes Coalition (SDDC) is currently seeking sponsorships for the Changes and Challenges in Diabetes Care and Education as well as the August 8-9, 2025 Empower Conference for those living with diabetes, family members of those with diabetes, and those with prediabetes or looking to prevent or delay the onset of diabetes.

Purpose
A room block rate of $160 plus tax is available at the Hilton Garden Inn - South for attendees. Additionally, there are other lodging options available nearby at the Comfort Inn and Suites (which accepts state rate) and the Holiday Inn Express and Suites.

Conference Overview
The Changes & Challenges in Diabetes Care and Education Conference is an opportunity for healthcare professionals who care for patients with diabetes or manage complications related to the disease.
A conference for professionals who care for patients with diabetes or manage the complications related to the disease.
This conference is intended for nurses, dietitians, pharmacists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, physicians, Community Health Workers, and other health care professionals who provide care and education to those with diabetes and their families. The conference provides updates on diabetes management - including CGM usage, pharmaceutical updates, as well as updates for basic diabetes care and management. Conference registration includes CEs for healthcare professionals.
Conference Registration: $125 - includes all meals and 10 CEs*
A student rate of $50 is also available for current students
